Training fee and board: $750 per month
Specializing in gentle training of horses for show or pleasure. Training includes under saddle, Parelli Natural Horsemanship and John Lyons style of ground skills, bathing, clipping, loading, trail training, finish show training.

The basics of training to ride a horse are of the utmost importance.
If steps are skipped and training is rushed in either horse or rider,
problems can begin and be a part of both for a lifetime.
The trainers of Prairie Gem Stables are
totally committed to producing excellence in horsemanship for each
rider. Whether you just want to ride for recreation or
head for the show ring at Nationals, we will start each rider exactly
the same. Learning a good seat, quiet hands that are slow to ask and
quick to release, balance, control, understanding the horse's language,
grooming & tacking up, playing horse games, etc.; all these areas plunge
the rider into the amazing and exciting world of getting to know the
horse.
