Arabian Horse Youth Nationals

Congratulations to Sylvia Rogan and her horses for great times at Albuquerque, New Mexico during the Arabian Horse Youth Nationals. Sylvia rode her best and received 2 Top Tens, defeating many riders out of the top ten placings in the US. She Top Tenned in Show Hack and Saddleseat Equitation, both with the stunning CP Merritt, who was never supposed to show again due to lameness. See what prayer and hard work can do? We are so proud of them both.

Lancaster County Arabian Fall Classic

Also, congratulations to both Sylvia and Natasha Arritt for a fine job showing their horses in the recent Lancaster Co. Arabian Fall Classic, held in Lincoln. The rode head and shoulders above the other riders in their classes, as stated by spectators at the show. They won so many 1st places that they gave a full 8 piece set of the prize navy blue mugs that the Arabian Association of Nebraska gives to winners, to Shannon Hernon, a PGS rider who is getting married on Aug. 29th. Great gift, girls.

Gemani, Elle's 2 year old son, surprised us all in the halter classes and won first place in both the Half Arabian 2 year old geldings and older class and also in the champion class. He seemed to love being at the show. Sylvia did a fine job handling him.
